Tri-County United Way celebrates its centennial anniversary at The Queensbury Hotel on October 19th, 2023
GLENS FALLS, NEW YORK — On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, Tri-County United Way commemorates a century of unwavering service across the communities of Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties. The 100-year anniversary gala taking place at The Queensbury Hotel pays tribute to the rich heritage of Tri-County United Way, acknowledging its transformative influence of communities’ current endeavors, and setting its sights on a future where every individual enjoys opportunities and resources essential for all.
“We have been responding to the most pressing needs of our community now for a century,” said Kristin Chlopecki, Executive Director of Tri-County United Way. “While the needs over the years have changed, our mission has remained the same: to improve the lives of the residents of Warren, Washington, and Northern Saratoga Counties and positively impact the community.
“When people think of all the challenges our community is facing, they can trust that Tri-County United Way is helping to address so many of them,” expressed Liza Ochsendorf, Director of Workforce Development for Warren County. “One sponsorship or donation helps several nonprofit agencies & community issues at one time. There’s no better model than the United Way.”
