Tri-County United Way Announces Funding Cycle Partner Agencies, Including New Member Agencies

Glens Falls, NY – February 26, 2026 – Tri-County United Way is excited to announce the selection of its partner agencies for the 2025-2026 funding cycle. Returning partner agencies include Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks, Catholic Charities of Saratoga, Warren & Washington Counties (Domestic Violence Elder Abuse Prevention Project & Youth Services Project), Family Service Association, Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens Center, The Salvation Army Glens Falls Corps, The Senior Center of Kingsbury and Fort Edward, North Country Ministry, Glens Falls Association for the Blind, and Comfort Food Community.

Tri-County United Way is also pleased to welcome two new member agencies: the Warren/Washington County Homeless Youth Coalition (WAIT House) and Haynes House of Hope.

Funds from Tri-County United Way will support the WAIT House Family Opportunity Center (FOC), which offers a range of vital services for youth and families in crisis. Open since January 2024, the FOC serves youth (up to age 24) referred from WAIT House’s youth shelter programs, Department of Social Service agencies, schools, law enforcement, and other community partners. The center provides mental health services, peer support, family counseling, job training, and various skill-building classes, all designed to stabilize and strengthen the family unit. Services are free, voluntary, and focused on the mental health of all family members.

Haynes House of Hope will also receive funding to continue providing compassionate end-of-life care to terminally ill individuals, at no cost to them or their families. The organization provides 24/7 care to residents, including holidays, and relies on dedicated caregivers to offer hands-on support. Tri-County United Way’s funding will help sustain these services and assist in recruiting volunteers to maintain the high quality of care needed to support families in their time of greatest need.

These new partners further Tri-County United Way’s mission to provide essential services to vulnerable populations and create lasting positive change in the community.
