Your contribution will benefit Tri-County United Way’s United in Purpose and Kids with Packs programs, which serve hundreds of students across 20 local schools. The growing need for headphones in area classrooms has been recognized, and the United Way believes these donations will enhance students’ educational experience by promoting the importance of music and arts, while also supporting their academic needs.

Tri-County United Way representatives will be in the Glens Falls High School lobby on December 8 from 2:30 p.m. until the concert starts at 4:00 p.m., and again during intermission, to collect your headphone donations. In preparation for the Kids with Packs and United in Purpose initiatives, Laura Jensen, Director of Community Engagement, worked closely with school officials from Warren, Northern Saratoga, and Washington counties to address the pressing needs of students. As a result, hundreds of new backpacks filled with essential supplies—such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and headphones—have been distributed. Additionally, students and staff received new clothing, hygiene products, and food items through United in Purpose.
