The Adirondack Thunder, the region’s professional ice hockey team, recently teamed up with Tri-County United Way to support local school districts, starting with Warrensburg Elementary and Bolton Central School. This collaboration aimed to empower both students and teachers by fostering community involvement and strengthening resources to improve student success. Together, the Adirondack Thunder and Tri-County United Way focused on promoting core values like kindness, unity, and collaboration. The initiative highlighted the importance of teamwork, mentorship, leadership, and the power of determination and hard work, demonstrating how giving back and forming strong partnerships can lead to success in all aspects of life.
The partnership kicked off at Warrensburg Elementary in December and wrapped up in January at Bolton Central School. These events were designed to directly benefit educational programs, boost community engagement, and offer local students unique opportunities to connect with the team and its players.
